Privacy policy

What we collect, why we hold it, who else can see it, and how to make us delete it. Written to be read rather than to be survived.

Last updated 12 August 2026

The short version

  • This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
  • The only personal information we hold is what you type into a form and send us.
  • We never sell it, and we never share it for anyone else’s marketing.
  • Email contact@zyfrr.com and we will delete everything we hold about you.

The full text below is what actually applies.

Who this covers

This policy covers zyfrr.com and any enquiry you send us through it. It is written for Zyfrr Technologies, a software and digital marketing business operating from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Work we do under a signed agreement for a client is governed by that agreement rather than by this page. Where the two ever disagree, the signed agreement wins.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send us. Our contact form and our website audit form ask for the following, and nothing on this site collects personal information any other way.

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone or WhatsApp number, if you give one
  • The service you are asking about, or the website address you want audited
  • Whatever you write in the message field

What is recorded automatically with a submission

When a form is submitted we store three technical details alongside it, so that we can tell a genuine enquiry from an automated one and know which page it came from.

  • The page you submitted the form from
  • Your browser’s user agent string
  • The date and time

What we do not collect

We think this section matters more than the one above it, so it is worth being specific.

We set no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies unless you have explicitly allowed them, and at the time of writing none are switched on at all. There is no session recording and no chat widget.

Loading a page here causes your browser to contact our server and no other. The typefaces are served from our own domain rather than fetched from Google, so even the fonts do not report your visit to anyone.

You can verify all of that yourself with your browser’s developer tools, and we would rather you did than take our word for it.

Cookies, and your choice

Nothing optional is ever set before you decide. If we add a tool that needs cookies, a banner appears first and nothing is written until you answer it. Declining is a single click and costs you nothing on this site.

There are three categories, and you can allow or refuse them independently rather than facing a single accept everything button.

  • Necessary. One cookie, zy_consent, which records the choice you make so we stop asking. It holds no personal information and cannot be switched off, because without it we cannot remember that you said no.
  • Analytics. Which pages are read and where people arrive from, aggregated and never used to identify you.
  • Marketing. Which adverts led to an enquiry, so we stop paying for the ones that do not work.

Changing your mind

Use the cookie preferences link in the footer at any time. Turning a category off stops it immediately, and you can also clear cookies for this site in your browser, which resets everything and makes us ask again.

While no optional categories are configured, that link does not appear, because there is nothing for it to manage.

Why we hold it

To reply to you, to prepare a quote or an audit, and to keep a record of the conversation so that we do not lose track of it. That is the entire purpose.

We do not build profiles, we do not enrich your details from other sources, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you asked us a question.

Who else can see it

We use a small number of well established services to run the site and hold enquiries. Each of them can technically access the data we put through them, and each is bound by its own terms.

  • Vercel, which hosts the website and keeps ordinary server logs including IP addresses for a short period
  • MongoDB Atlas, where enquiries are stored
  • Resend, which delivers the email alerting us to a new enquiry
  • Google Workspace, where that alert lands in our inbox

What we never do

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to a data broker. We do not share it with another business for their marketing.

We will disclose information only where the law genuinely requires it, and we will tell you if that happens unless we are forbidden from doing so.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted within two years. If we work together, we keep what we need for the length of the engagement and for as long afterwards as tax and accounting rules in India require.

You can ask us to delete everything sooner, at any point, and we will.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and comparable rules elsewhere, you can ask us to do all of the following. Email contact@zyfrr.com and we will act within thirty days, usually far sooner.

  • Tell you exactly what we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete everything we hold
  • Stop contacting you
  • Explain how we got your details, if you did not send them yourself

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries are held in a managed database that is not publicly reachable, and access is restricted to the people who need it.

No system is perfect, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will tell you and the relevant authority promptly rather than quietly.

Children

This is a business website and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. We will not quietly widen what we do with your information and leave the old text in place.

Contact

Questions, corrections, deletions or complaints all go to the same place: contact@zyfrr.com. A person reads it.

Anything here you want explained, corrected or removed, write to contact@zyfrr.com. A person reads it.
